Why Coaching
with EM?
Ever since I can remember I have been passionate about working with people to help them become the best version of themselves. And as my daughter grew and developed, I learnt and studied about human development, connections and emotional behaviours. I became so much more aware that any positive changes in myself, as the parent, meant a positive change in my daughter at various ages and stages. Learning to move forward, to feel in control and optimistic, are all very important elements to my practise now in teaching and coaching others. Out of this grew Coaching with EM and Educating Minds.
I am a UK qualified, fully insured, Positive Psychology Coach & Youth Resilience Coach. I offer individual coaching sessions and workshops for parents, young people, teachers and carers. Sessions are based around a pluralistic approach to coaching, positive psychology strategies, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, Mindful Based Cognitive Behaviour, Neuroscience and Person-centred methods. I have trained with accredited associations in these methods of coaching and maintain professional supervision and continual professional development (CPD).
The way I work with clients in sessions reflects the importance of keeping a non judgemental, safe space to explore and create personalised plans to achieve positive outcomes and wellbeing. A space to become 'unstuck' and to move forward, proactively, one step at a time with warmth and empathy.
I have been coaching and teaching for over ten years. I am a mum to a teenage daughter, a wife, owner of many furry friends and a lover of plants and trees. I am proud to have been a “third culture child” myself, as I have had many wonderful experiences of growing up in The Sultanate of Oman and living and working in Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Cyprus, Spain and the UK.
